Katie Sproul is a seasoned family business executive with expertise in the disciplines of real estate, agriculture, investment management, private equity, family office best practices and private company governance. Katie is CEO of Halstatt, LLC and a respected family leader. Previously, she played a dual role as CEO of Halstatt, LLC and Co-President of the Barron Collier Companies, both of which are built upon the legacy of Barron Gift Collier, Sr. one of the founding fathers of Collier County in Naples, Florida. Katie is values based, a visionary, thought leader and frequently sought speaker.
Halstatt, LLC is the operating and investment arm of the Sproul family. Halstatt is rooted in the acquisition, development and disposition of large real estate assets, primarily Grey Oaks, a master planned golf course community and LaPlaya Beach and Golf Resort and Club, a luxury beach front resort and beach and golf club. In 2011, Halstatt leveraged this expertise and founded Halstatt Real Estate Partners, raising over $220M in capital in two opportunistic focused real estate funds of which Katie is a Principal. Katie oversees Halstatt’s investment portfolio and private equity investments, both direct
and indirect. Katie earned an MBA from the Yale School of Management and holds a B.A. in psychology from Cornell University.
